2009 OIF Worldwide Interoperability Demonstration - Enabling Broadband On-Demand Services
Description of Demo:
The OIF’s 4th Worldwide Interoperability Demonstration included testing of Ethernet Virtual Private Line (EVPL) services in the control and data planes over diverse transport technologies, including both Ethernet and MPLS-based packet transport technologies. The participating vendors included Alcatel-Lucent, Ciena Corporation, Ericsson, Huawei Technologies, Marben Products, NEC Corporation of America, Nokia Siemens Networks, Sycamore Networks, Tellabs and ZTE. Test facilities, located around the world, included China Telecom, Deutsche Telekom, Orange Labs - France Telecom Group, KDDI R&D Labs, NTT, Telecom Italia and Verizon.
