OIF @ ECOC 2012
ECOC 2012 – September 17-19, 2012 – Amsterdam, The Netherlands
The Optical Internetworking Forum hosted a demonstration of multi-vendor operation of the issued CEI-25G-LR and the draft CEI-28G-VSR implementation agreements at ECOC 2012. This was the OIF’s initial European demonstration of these 100Gb/s channels and included an ever-increasing array of component suppliers.
The OIF’s Physical and Link Layer demonstrations featured host ASICs with:
- VSR SERDES, host PCB traces, optical module connectors, module retimers, active copper cable assemblies, optical transceivers
- LR SERDES, backplane PCBs and backplane connectors
