This project will develop an IA for an integrated coherent transmitter-receiver optical sub-assembly (IC-TROSA) supporting high bandwidth and high order QAM operation for DCI, metro and LH applications and having two options: A) Laser Outside, & B) Laser Inside.
Implementation Agreement
- Implementation Agreement for Integrated Coherent Transmit-Receive Optical Sub Assembly – This document details an Implementation Agreement for an Integrated Coherent Transmit-Receive Optical Sub Assembly (IC-TROSA) targeting modulation and data-rate agnostic coherent applications having nominal symbol rates up to 64Gbaud. This IA aims to identify and specify the common features and properties of IC-TROSA to enable them to broadly meet the needs of current and future coherent systems.
Press Release
- September 23, 2019 – OIF Approves IC-TROSA Implementation Agreement, Specifications Speed Delivery of a Higher Level of Integration for Transmit and Receive Optical Components
